I adore your podcasts and your podcast3 is fantastic! Everything is great:
your voice, your speech and words, the introduction (Some People), the final song, the breaks of music. You are very nice and you have a great
sensitivity!

This is the first ever Podcast I’ve listened to…and I loved it. Your voice was soothing, it was like having an old friend talking to me. I could have listened to it all day. The final music by the Pet Shop Boys was so fitting for the events you hinted at. I look forward to many more of your Podcasts.

Hey man great podcast. I liked the addition of the music bits.
I went to a wedding this past weekend for a friend who I hadn’t seen in about 10 years. (well I’d seen him the previous weekend for the bachelor party … but prior to that it had been like 10 years.) At the wedding I met up with four others who I hadn’t seen in at least as long. In some ways they had changed alot and in many ways … not at all.
It was alot of fun getting back in touch with them. We’ve made a vow to not go another decade without keeping in touch.
Anyway … I say contact your old friends. Just tell them exactly what you’ve told us – that you were going over some of those old videos and thought of them – I’d bet they’d be flattered.
I feel your pain on the being uncomfortable filming other people. I’ve tried to do that damn ‘what your neighborhood is like at 2am’ thing a few times now … but my neighborhood is very lively at 2am and so far my own inhibitions have hindered me. If you come up with any exercises to help get over that let me know.
You’re changing the ping? I like that ping! The Ping has been haunting me ever since I first heard it. It taunts: “You need a sound like The Ping”, “DavidMeade.com need a sound!”, “LGT2 has The Ping … WHAT DO YOU HAVE?!”.
Oh and … ME = HUGE Star Trek fan. It is very cool that they’re launching his remains into space. I’ve implemented a small tribute to Scotty but I can’t discuss it yet as it’s classified.
As for your downfall with money … you should put a donation button. I’ve never imagined that those make much for the author but you’ve got good content that people like – it’s worth a shot. It might at least pay for hosting the website or something.
