Issue 004 • September 2002

Welcome to the 4th edition of the LimeLetter. Yes, it's been a long time! I've been on a summer hiatus and have been working on other projects. Bea has finished her tour in the United States, but is preparing for shows in other countries. So, if you have lost track of either Bea or myself, you can now catch up at one fantastically pleasant location. The LimeLetter. Enjoy!

Kev!
Features from the Lime ::

I Want My MSNBC
As Ashleigh crossed the country last month, reporting on location, she stopped in Chicago at the Sears Tower. We were there to meet and greet her. Read the full story of the experience, view the pictures that were shot, and watch the actual video of myself live on MSNBC.

Stalking Survivors
To meet Tina once, was a chance of a life time, but to meet her a second and third time in the same day... is a tad freaky. View the pictures and read the story of the unfolding events from the day I met a sweet survivor.

O' Mary!
Gay Pride Parade 2002 in Chicago covered by yours truly. Pictures and a Quicktime video of the event. Always a great time for both gay and straight people. Check it out!

Left To My Own Devices ::

She's finally mine! After waiting a long, long half year, I finally broke down and purchased the iPod. Unfortunately, if I were to have waited 3 weeks longer, I would have a 20GB model versus the 10GB model. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy and feel as part of an elite club of music enthusiasts. In addition, I just received the newly released remote control, making the portable jukebox even more enjoyable. Check it out if you've been looking for the ultimate MP3 solution!

Creative Services ::

Did you know that I never leave the house? That's because I don't have to! Since August 2000, I've been working for myself as a full time freelance designer. There is nothing better then being your own boss and doing what you love... computers and design.

Bea Everywhere ::
E! TV Tales :: The Golden Girls
TONIGHT [Wednesday 18, 8pm eastern] :: The premiere episode of E!'s TV Tales featuring the Golden Girls.Not exactly sure what to expect, but hoping for some behind the scenes footage, clarification on the four actresses relationships between each other, and more of Bea that we haven't seen before. Do not miss this episode! Also, the show will be 2 hours in length... what more can you ask for?!

The Moment We've Been Waiting For
Yes, it is official. There is finally going to be an Lifetime's Intimate Portrait on the remaining golden gal, Bea Arthur. This news, to most of her fans, is the biggest event since Bea announcing her one women show last year. They have already begun production on the show, interviewing friends and family of Bea's, as well as, collecting images from her childhood. There has been no air date released as of yet, but be sure to check back to the news section at BeatriceArthur.com for any announcements.

New One Woman Shows ::

Bea fooled us all, letting us believe that she finished her Bea Arthur on Broadway: Just Between Friends tour and shows. Well, she's back, and she's global!

Where :: Sydney, Australia
When :: October - November 10th, 2002

Where :: Toronto
When :: November 20th - December 8th, 2002

Where :: London
When :: ???? [it was rumored that Bea was coming to London, but I haven't heard anything further on this in quite some time... check back to the news section on the web site for further details once learned]

Bea Linked ::

Bea Arthur In The Lime Light :: well of course I have to mention my own fan site... again! Be sure to visit often, I am always changing and updating the site whenever I have the time!

Golden Girls UK :: simply the best, overall, web site dedicated to the Golden Girls. Period.

Rue McClanahan :: the most elaborate fan site of Rue McClanahan on the web. Rue McClanahan has been Bea's partner in crime over the years in both Maude and the Golden Girls.

And Then There's Bea Yahoo! Group :: for more current news on Bea Arthur, check out this Yahoo! Group that I created well over a year ago. It has been an extremely valuable resource of information for Bea's fans. Join the discussion today!
