Kb
symbol -
originated from my initials k
and b. When the k is reversed
and lined up with the back of
the b it forms an x shape, more
specifically the kb symbol. This
symbol is used as a second signature.
Though I don't sign my checks
with the symbol, I do sign my
art work and photography with
it.
The emerging
wireless technology company Bluetooth released
their new logo. Problem... its super
similar to my own personal logo and
signature. Since I am just another
number, there is not much I can do.
I don't have the money to trademark
my own creations, therefore, I lose.
I have been using my mark since 1994
on all my work. Check out my previous
personal web pages and art work to
see for yourself.
Limegreen
Tangerine - originated
from The Cure's song entitled
'Wrong Number'. In the song,
the phrase 'limegreen and tangerine...'
repeats many times. Being a long
time, loyal, fan of The Cure,
the lyrics stuck. Soon everything
in my eyes became limegreen and
tangerine, primarily limegreen
since it was first in the lyric.
My online nicknames then changed
to limegreen. Everything was
limegreen and tangerine. It was
only fitting to launch my web
site based around the colours!
Chicken -
originated from a blank mind... Literally!
When trying to describe something
to someone, and a loss of wording
occured, I would simply say 'chicken'
instead of 'thing', or 'it', or 'whats-his-face'.
I have been using 'chicken' in this
way since 1992. People have been
known to draw chickens on paper and
stick them underneath my car's windshield
wipers!
Vectorlime -
has been used as a unique nickname
when limegreen has been already used
by someone else [being limegreen
is such a common word and favorite
colour]. Vectorlime is 'vector' from
vector graphics and 'lime' from limgreen
[obviously]!!
Boo-Boo
Hazelton - [drag
queen on front of the page] is
the hostess with the mostesssss...
well at one point in time. Boo-Boo
is our friendly greeter of the
site. Her name originated from
my first pet's name and the first
street I lived on. You can figure
out your drag name by doing the
same!
